Is your immune system under or over-active? Find out here...

Suffer from allergies or asthma? Dreading the winter season or contemplating having your flu vaccine? Hold on, we think you might just want to read this first…

Immulox® is a unique ingredient extracted from pure colostrum made up of PRPs (Proline-rich Polypeptide). PRPs are the most important immune component of colostrum due to their immune balancing function. PRPs are key in balancing an overactive immune system, while at the same time correcting the immune cells signalling responses - just like reprogramming a computer so it works better and more efficiently. The key difference between Immulox® and other immune balancing products is the presence of high level PRPs.

So how do PRPs correct any imbalances? PRPs naturally support balance in the immune system, supporting both a weakened and overactive immune system. Whether you have a nasty viral or bacterial infection, you’re run down or your immune system is at a weak point, or if you suffer from allergies, asthma, or an autoimmune condition - which is a result of an overactive immune system, PRPs can help restore balance.

Many other natural immune ingredients can actually aggravate autoimmune conditions because they contain ingredients that stimulate the immune system even further. This is okay if the immune system is underactive, but if the immune system is overactive, as seen in those with allergies and autoimmune diseases, you don’t want to stimulate it further with immune stimulating herbs. This is because with autoimmune diseases the immune system goes into overdrive and starts attacking the body’s own healthy organs and tissues. This generally occurs due to the immune system not switching off its response after an infection and the immune cells no longer communicating properly. The symptoms are similar to allergies caused by a hypersensitivity reaction to a substance either in the diet or environment, such as pollen. For example when pollen enters the body, the immune system overreacts and produces histamine, causing symptoms such as a runny nose, itchy eyes and sneezing.

PRPs are the active ingredient in Immulox® known for their immune balancing effects. That’s because PRPs are the body’s chemical messengers responsible for cell-to-cell communication to either stimulate an underactive immune system, or tone down an overactive one, and balance or normalise the immune response. PRPs are the key messengers when an infection is detected. Chemical signals go out to mobilise other cells to come to the defence and fight off the infection. In essence, PRPs activate a balanced immune response. PRPs also help the immune system to provide a more effective immune response to chronic viral or bacterial infections by increasing our white blood cells. These are our immune cells that attack viral and bacterial infections and inhibit viruses from replicating, as well as provide an even faster immune response.

When the infection has been contained, PRPs are again one of the major signals to stop the immune response to the infection. A healthy immune system should be able to specify exactly which types of cells to produce and should be able to easily switch back and forth between either an increase or decrease in their immune response. An unhealthy immune system can get “stuck” in one of these responses and an overactive one develops into allergies and autoimmune conditions.
Immulox® is available in 30 and 60 capsules.
