Tips to aid weight loss

Author -  Good Health

We all know that to lose weight we need to eat less and exercise more – which in theory makes a lot of sense. However, we also know that weight loss is not always that simple. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses, so if you know your weaknesses then you can make a plan of action to work around them.

Here are some useful tips to get you off to a good start:

• Don’t keep tempting foods in the house. If it’s not there you can’t eat it. Snack on summer fruits instead!

• Know what you can and can’t eat – learn about portion sizes, carbs, fat and protein intake.  (Many people have very distorted views on this).

• See a nutritionist to get you started. Having to be accountable to someone monitoring you can keep you very motivated to achieve your goal.

• Don’t eat complex carbs in the evening.

• Sign up to do a boot camp. This commits you to a fitness program to have to show up to and it’s more fun with other people.

• Make sure you eat protein at breakfast and lunch. This can help curb those afternoon and evening cravings.

• Drink plenty of water – don’t confuse thirst with hunger.

• Eat slowly and chew food thoroughly – it takes 20 minutes for your brain to register your stomach is full.

• Bored at night time?  Switch off the TV and go do something.

• Cut out alcohol – it’s high in sugar and gives you the munchies.

• Get enough sleep – studies have shown that lack of sleep can lead to weight gain.

If you’re ready to up the ante of your healthy lifestyle with a weight loss supplement, take a look at Svetol 2800. This is clinically researched to support your metabolism and manage sugar cravings with the use of decaffeinated green coffee bean extract.
