The average modern diet often provides less than the recommended daily intake of fibre. Adequate dieatry fibre intake is essential for optimal health. Flaxofibre™ provides both soluble and insoluble fibres from organic flax seeds to gently support bowel regularity, digestive health, cardiovascular health and healthy blood cholesterol. Flaxofibre™ also provides protein and omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids making it an ideal addition to your daily diet to promote overall health and wellbeing.

Directions: Adults: Mix 1 heaped teaspoonful thoroughly into a glass of water or juice. Take up to 4 times daily.
Children 6-12 years: Mix 1/2 to 1 teaspoonful thoroughly into a glass of water of juice. Take up to 4 times daily.
Drink immediately before fibre settles. May also be mixed into smoothies or cereals.

Precautions: Do not swallow  in dry form, always mix with liquid. Ensure adequate fluid intake when taking fibre supplements - 1 to 2 litres per day is recommended. Some changes in bowel habits may occur due to increased fibre intake. If any unusual changes occur, including abdominal pain or extended constipation, seek professional advice. Lowered absorption of medicines may occur when taking concentrated fibre; therefore it is recommended that Flaxofibre™ is taken one hour after medication.
